Here are some useful tips for  parents

  • Reading should be fun

  • Choose the right time to share a story with your toddler…make sure that the TV is turned off and there is a nice cosy atmosphere

  • Talk to your baby about the story and ask him questions. He wont understand but will get used to learning the way  a question sounds.

  • Encourage him/her to handle books-simply holding a book and turning the pages is a learning experience.

  • Give books as presents- they are beautiful and very special.

  • Remember sharing books is a wonderful way of  spending quiet time together talking to your child and listening to their answers.
